GROW

Finally, I am free now. Free from final exam. Some of my grades have been released on the website. And, I thank God, my marks and grades are good.
I wanna write about my experience of my first time of GROW. What is GROW? GROW stands for Generation for Revival Of Worship. I attended the GROW on Saturday, 5 February 2005. It was held in Istora Senayan, Jakarta. It was a special event where so many christiany youths came, praise, pray, and worship GOD, in faceless and nameless unity. It was really fun there. It was full of Holy Spirit there. I and all of the youths there sang and worshipped GOD freely and spiritful. The Istora Senayan was almost full with people at that time. It was about 9000 people came there. And I am so blessed after that. Let tha flame of the Holy Spirit will still be fired... All of the praises and glory for Jesus Christ!

Waaaaaaaa..........!!!!
I'm on final exam of this semester now... Today is Introduction to Information & Technology exam. The material and source is really (really, really, really - with repetition) MUCH! I hate to memorize it all. It's about 350 pages, and I have to memorize it in one night! Gosh! I'm tired of it... It's about 3 hours before the exam, and I'm still trying to do it well. GOD HELP ME!!!

Come Around Again

Gosh! It's been two weeks since my last post. I was too busy to be able to post here. Anyway, now I will pay my absent.

Here is a brief of what I did before:

* 16th Jan, I didn't go to church because I had to attend the software briefing of Liaison Officer of International Varsities of English Debate 2005. It was fun. I made some new friends. At that time, there were some debate simulation and judging simulation. And there is a girl from Tarakanita High School, who was a member of a debat group which was invited to be one of guest teams that matched up that day. She is truly beautiful.

* Monday 17th Jan, I collect the English magazine that I and my friends had been made for almost 2 months. The result is really good. Thanks to Inki for his help by making design and layout for the magazine. I really appreciate your work. Well done, friend! In this day, I also present a drama with friends of mine. The drama is a comedy one, and it's really funny. We made it success, anyway, and I got very good mark, because I was acting as the narrator of the story.

* Tuesday 18th Jan, I collect my Introduction to Information & Technolgy paper. I brought that up entitled "Wireless Technology". It was 40 pages thick. And, I booked it at 5 pm, while the deadline was also 5 pm. But, I made it collected successfully and although it was late for about 5 minutes from the deadline time, it's ok.

* Wednesday 19th Jan, I was not free that day, because there was two subtitution class. One thing that was interesting for me was, when Indonesia class which I and all of the class collect the book review that we made before, the substitute lecturer was teach us really good, and I was amazed with her. He made the class fun and attractful. Then, after going back to my booardroom, I was trying to do some homeworks. But I just made some, and then because of the boring, I watched two movies at the night. The "Along Come Polly" movie was really good and funny. "About A Boy" was also a good movie. I enjoyed watching them.

* Thursday 20th Jan, I made the first program of 2nd session Algortihm & Programming projects. The total program is 8 program. They all are really difficult. It's hard to be made fast. And the deadline is two days next. Oh, God! Please help do this! I lean on You. This day is also the last meeting with our lecturer of Algorithm & Programming, Mr. Thompson. Actually, I am both sad and happy for this last meeting. He is a great and smart lecturer!

I know, it's not even a complete story about what I had done in these few days, but I'v tried my best to remember and rewrite my experience these days. ^.^

Lot Of Books

I've been working on English again today (not finished yet), while the deadline is nearer. But that is not what I want to talk now.

I wanna talk about books now. Yes..., books. They are my favorite things in this world. I always read books wherever and whenever I can. I have many good collections of books. I only collect good books. I always buy books if I have money.

What are my requirements of good books?

• They have to be a smart writing. Good writings are writings that can add information for people who read them.
• They must have quality. Both fictions and non-fictions are good to be read, as long as it can add a new experience of reading.
• They have to make people think. It means that their words must be classy. Difficult words can also be used for making people think.
• They have to be able to make the readers imagine. The readers must have a picture from the description that were given. Imagination holds a very important role for books in order that they can be understood and seen as exact as the writers draw.
• They have to be interesting. The term interesting is varied from one person to another. But for me, interesting means including what I like.
• They must be able to give anxiety and eagerness for people who read them, so they will not satisfy if they don't finish reading them yet, and finally make them read it for more on and on.

If the books satisfy all of my requirements above, the it means, I have to have and buy those books. I have special satisfaction of having them. But it doesn't mean that I don't read books which are not suitable of those requirements. I still read them, but I don't interested to have or buy them. Of course, if other people wanna give me those books, then it doesn't matter. Just count it to add my collections...

Maybe this writing will urge you to and make you wanna read books too. I'm really happy if you want to spend your some times to read books, rather than doing something else which is useless. Next time I will write and analyze some very good books that I have read. ^.^

Recently Update

Let's see. I've been working for 3 hours just to find the tools for my blog. With good effort, i finally found the appropriate tools. Let's see what I've done to this blog!

First, I added some new features (again...). There is a new Headline News side. It contains 5 (five) top news that will be updated daily (even hourly!). And next is Today History. It tells what happened in the day you visit this blog in world history. It shows 4 facts. It really interesting facts that not everybody knows. You may also find more facts in today history by clicking View All. And finally, there is Site Search. By using this, you may search a topic or a keyword in my blog. If I wrote that topic or keyword in my blog, then there will be the result for you.

Second, I've done some changes here also. You may see that the position of Thanks To has moved to the other part (right bottom side) of this blog. I did it so that all of you can see the features that is featured in this blog more clearly and not disturbed by those links. I've changed the picture links to text links. It makes my blog not being so full of pictures and also make the upload of this blog faster for not uploading so many pictures. One link to another friend of mine also has been available.

New Features

I'm still here, working on this blog, after finishing and submitting Introduction to Information & Technology offclass assignment. Of course I try hard to make this blog as good as I can do. The prove is I still don't get to bed although I will having a class tomorrow morning in order to attach some new things here. Now I've added some new features. You can see some differences in this blog. Of course I got some troubles to apply some of these new features, but thanks to God that I can solve and overcome these problems.

The features are:
1. Time. There is time showing in the right bar. It is set to Jakarta time (GMT + 7). So you will not lost direction of time anymore while surfing this blog.
2. Poll. A poll is now available. You can find this in the right bar. This time the poll is about: "What book do you like to read the most?" There are 7 alternative answers, it depends on you to choose which is you like the most to read. The choice is based on my favorite books (^_^). Maybe I will update this poll every month or more. So, don't forget to poll here.
3. Counter. There is also visitor counter. It is located also in the right bar. Everytime people visit this blog, there will be added one to the counter (including me). The numbers in the counter show how many people have visited this blog.
4. Link. I have added another link to a friend of mine's blog. Check it out also.
5. Thanks to. I also added some links to website that I use their helps. You may visit it to use it also in your blog.
